The nominees for best Company, IRO and CFO are listed below.

In total, 80 companies are included in the 21stedition of IR Nordic Markets. Financial analysts have rated companies they actively follow, based on objective opinions and personal experience. The survey includes 25 criteria, from the Annual Report to the perception of top management’s communication skills and competence.

— It’s been an interesting year with a number of cases where communication with the markets has been coupled with many challenges. The study includes new areas of inquiry and we’ve looked at a couple of issues in particular. More information shortly. Apart from the best companies, we will also award the best IRO and CFOs in each Nordic country respectively, says Mikael Kärrlander, Senior Consultant at Regi.

In Sweden, nominated companies are Investor, Gränges, Sandvik, Swedbank and Swedish Match.

Ocean Yield, Tomra and Yara International top the list in Norway. Genmab, Tryg and William Demant Holding top the list in Denmark. Cargotec, Kemira and Neste are nominated in Finland.

New criteria in this year’s edition of the study include CSR & Sustainability, the Annual Report’s outlook on future and strategy, Financial Reporting along with a new section focusing on the IR-team.

—  In general, Nordic listed companies receive high grades for their financial communication, the home-page and other more or less standardized items. Still, there are several areas that will develop and probably improve with time. A parallel survey including 100 Nordic IR-Managers has also been conducted and will show some interesting insights as to what areas will be most prioritized in the near future. We’ll publish the results shortly after the main study, says Mikael Kärrlander.

Nominated Nordic companies, IROs and CFOs are presented on the next page.
